Protecting your well-being in these situations is crucial, as it allows you to maintain your sense of self and strength, even in a Hostile Workplace. Here are some strategies to help you hold onto your peace and dignity until you’re able to transition to a better space.

  • Limit Interaction: You don't need to engage with everyone. Politely excuse yourself or keep conversations strictly professional and task-focused. If you sense a conversation veering into discriminatory territory, create distance. Your peace comes first.
